Flamenco Dance Teacher

She is graduated in Spanish, Classical Dance and has a Degree in the Higher Degree in Spanish Dance Pedagogy as well as in the Higher Degree in Flamenco Dance Pedagogy. Throughout her professional career she has worked in numerous Companies such as Luisillo in his shows “Carmen” “Don Quijote”, as the first dancer with the Dancer Miguel Sandoval in the flamenco show of the tablao “El Corral de la Pacheca” in Madrid . New Spanish Ballet Company (NBE), participating in the shows of “Flamenco Directo”, “Gallo de Pelea”, “Furia”, “Fury” and “Tierra”, performing solo roles, company Ballet Flamenco Ballet José Porcel as First dancer in his shows: “Café Cantante”, “Pies en la Tierra”, “Lienzos” and “Espartaco” under the Artistic Direction of the great master Granero. She has collaborated in the Company of Joaquín Ruiz with the orchestra of the Liceo de Barcelona and has participated in the Tribute to the Master Granero in the Lope de Vega theater in Seville, sharing the stage with stars such as Antonio Canales, Merche Esmeralda, Matilde Coral, Maribel Gallardo, Javier La Torre,… under the artistic direction of Jose Antonio.

She has been a guest artist at the Torrelavega Dance Choreography Contest in Cantabria. As a choreographer she has won the First Prize for Young Creators Contest of Alcalá de Henares with the choreography “El Baile de Luis Alonso”, the Second Prize of the Young Creators Contest of Alcalá de Henares with the choreography “Soledad” and Special Mention to the choreography “Senses”, the Young Creators Contest of the city of Móstoles. As a teacher, she has a long career in which she emphasizes her work as an interim teacher Flamenco Specialist of elementary grade at the Professional Conservatory “Carmen Amaya” in Madrid, interim teacher Flamenco specialist to accompany the dance with the guitar, at the Professional Conservatory of Music Arturo Soria. Responsible for the Department of Spanish Dance at the “School of Rojas and Rodriguez City of Móstoles” and currently runs her own school “Celia Pareja, Flamenco and Dance School” in Madrid. Celia Pareja for almost 20 years has combined professional activity with study and teaching.
